BR The first report has hit the media today. But look at what is happening.

The POUND was devalued during the last year by about 25% and QUANTITIVE EASING has added £150 Billion into the money markets.

PRICES are rocketing in some areas - look at this .

Today SECOND HAND CARS are 25% - 30% up on price as announced on NEWS 24 today.

Not only that FOOD has gone up 20% ( the supermarkets have got clever by reducing size of products & quality - even M&S have dropped their quality hugely ) but fresh food especially has gone up around 25% this year.

FUEL costs have gone up 30% in the last year for gas and electricity. Petrol has gone up by 20% since December as well. From 90p to £1.10 a litre.

TRAVEL - rail fares have gone up around 20% for unregulated fares this month.

So we are seeing REAL INFLATION running at around 20 to 30%. This is the TRUE picture of FOOD and TRANSPORT and FUEL.

So what is the CONSERVATIVES saying about this squeeze on the incomes of especially OAPs and those 16 million who are out of work and on benefits.......

NOTHING.

It can only get worse. There are massive fuel increases in the pipeline and house prices have started going up despite lack of demand. This is all happening because of the currency going down in value. The only thing stopping our INFLATION running out of control is the recession. The moment the recession genuinely stops we will see prices going up at 50% or more in many cases.

BROWN and DARLING risked this to save the BANKSTERS - and we will have to start paying soon. Wages will stay the same or go down - so in effect everyone will be taking a 50% pay cut.
