BlackitNotWantedHere The only reason being because it is massively unpopular with the public and the NSPCC felt it had to dissasociate itself from it lest it's gravy train donations were hurt.

None of these paedo laws are drawn up without the guidance of the major child victimisation, sorry - 'protection', charities. The NSPCC would have been consulted right from the beginning at the very least. Why only speak out now?
