JK2006 Mind you, he did look awful towards the end; as Keith Allen said "he's only 10 years older than me!".

He was only one year older than me but looked 75 at least.

I've given up raw shellfish, much though I love Oysters (always been worried by them whilst enjoying them). I hardly touch alcohol. Skimmed milk. Low fat spreads. Sensible eating with the odd binge meal at a Michelin starred restaurant. Apart from anything else, the contrast is sensational.
Marcus Keith Floyd had a wonderful approach to cooking. Food, and indeed life, is to be enjoyed, and Keith made these principles the basis of all his programmes.
It's a pity we didn't see more of him in recent years, because he was such great fun. R.I.P.
Innocent Accused Not a big fan of TV chefs, except for Floyd and Ramsey.
Sad loss.
BR Another sad loss of TV royalty.

Always enjoyed watching his programmes.
Foz Oh my God that's spooky. Saw the Keith Allen interview with him last night on TV (wonder if he had been watching it). Judging by his appearance, the poor guy didn't look like he had long to go. Still had his acerbic wit with liberal use of the F and even a few C words.
