JK2006 I actually prefer chicken with sausages - either hot dog or normal - but tried this for a change and it worked brilliantly with the mint.
Innocent Accused Strange combo, but I'm sure a tasty treat.
JK2006 Fry chopped onions and garlic cloves (half a dozen - crushed) in olive oil. When softened add chunks of chopped lamb steaks. Allow to cook over a low heat. After ten minutes add hot dog sausages cut into pieces. Then two spoonfuls of mint sauce (M&S do a good one). One Knorr lamb stock cube. A glass of white wine (Sancerre is best).

Pommes ecrasse - like mashed but with chunks of potato left in it; crushed more than pureed.

Ice cold cider.

Delicious. Keith would approve.
