The CAPITALS highlight key points. It is similar to the newspapers and magazines where they put quotes into boxes or highlight paragraphs with a headline.
It means that you can speed read the capitals to get the sense of a large block of text. Then if you find the subject matter boring you can not read the whole piece.
It is like a KEY POINTS presentation.
That is why if you write like this you generally get a bigger impact from those reading because more people can quickly scan your post.
Lets be honest many people dont want to read loads of text these days !!!
It is not SHOUTING - because if you read through my posts you will see I capitalise KEY WORDS and names of SUBJECTS in the posts.
I have decided to finally come clean about this - because I think I do owe an explanation to all you good folks on this forum for being patient with my style. Thank you. So now you all know I also dont expect you to take this approach - but hey you may like to now you know WHY !

Interesting article by Polly Toynbee in today's Guardian:
Personally I miss Charles Kennedy. Pity the demon drink got to him as he was really making headway.
(ps BR, why al the capital letters? we can read, you know )

I think we are going to see a very dirty election campaign from the LIBS and NEW LABOUR towards David Cameron - because he is the fave to win the election next year.
For CLEGG to call CAMERON a conman is quite ridiculous when he has not gone back on any promises that he has so far made. I could understand him saying that he lacks depth ( which is true of any opposition leader to be fair because they can only oppose ) but to say he is conning anyone - when he was the only leader to say that he would CUT ( and now even Brown has had to admit that he has to as well - despite pretending not to )
It is a real shame that the LIBERALS cant push forward a 10 point agenda on how they would change the UK for the better - rather than be like all the other parties and rely on personal insults.
Politics in the UK is in an awful state. Sometimes I wish a new party in the middle would be created so that we could all vote for some people with common sense.
