Foz I was surprised to notice too that he is married to the woman from the old Gold Blend coffee ads. She appeared in the first episode of this series as the long lost twin sisters.
The Fat Controller Interesting fact; Trevor Eve turned down a career in Hollywood (after Shoestring was shown in the states) for the West End theatre instead.

He could have been a huge movie star!
JK2006 Yes it was terrific entertainment but very odd; especially the (assumed) ending and Boyd has clearly gone completely, totally bonkers.
BR This week's Waking the Dead was a good story but with some strange scenes in it. The final scene was a bit bizarre.

Trevor Eve plays the angry nutter very well !!
The Fat Controller Surely no police officer could be as brutal and as callous as the Trevor Eve character in the show?
