veritas Watching this tale unfold-I've been wondering if a journalist or anybody would pick up on the most obvious thing:

A man is being released on parole to be deported back to Malaysia after killing a respected heart surgeon Victor Chang 20 years ago.

Princess Diana's very last charity function was in Sydney to open a centre in the surgeon's honour.

The killer has served the 18 years of his sentence and was being released 6 months early. The hue and cry from the revolting Murdoch media, police and especially politicians has been deafening.

The guy has been a model prisoner and met all the criteria for release yet everyone who has been bleating and ignoring the obvious-is the murdered heart surgeon's life worth more than any other murder victim?

Obviously yes to all these dimwits.. so a nobody who is murdered-their families can expect completely nought from the same bunch. Their murdered relative's life means little if they aren't a "celebrity".

More mindless claptrap from politicians-lawmakers who don't even understand the frigging laws they make.
