veritas great article and you are right..everything is geared to 5 minute wonders.

The complaints about Britney Spears miming in Oz are deafening at present plus the lack of huge screens so you can see her lypsinc..

Innocent Accused It seems to suggest that the artists want to continue on,and that is the main reason.However my view is that today's society is not geared up to producing the quality of artist,so the older ones are so much better,that they are kept going by public demand.

If you go back to the 60s people only wanted young people.Older acts faded fast.But where are the quality acts of today? Few and far between,the 60s artists still dominate.
