Pete Clarke I'm liking the titles for True Blood.

Really good images and a great, great song!
veritas Agree with those and the ones below..but
Absolutely Fabulous is my favourite (and created by a friend)
The Cat That was Tales of the Unexpected, JK.

The theme and sequence which I always remember from my childhood, apart from the wonderful old Doctor Who, was The Tomorrow People. The acting was terrible, but whenever that opening sequence came on I got goose bumps.
robbiex Jk, The Roald Dahl series you're thinking of is "Tales of the Unexpected" with the silhouette of the woman dancing.

One of the most memorable opening titles is Grange Hill from the late 70's/early 80's with the comic strip animation and the fork going through the sausage. It also had a memorable theme tune that "Give us a clue" stole.
Angel Armchair Thriller from the 80's springs to mind. The scary soundtrack and opening titles are etched in my memory. Terrifying stuff that got upto 18 million viewers in its day.
