If this is true and not spin - then perhaps the new MET CHIEF is showing a humility and conscience that his predecessor SIR IAN BLAIR never showed.

At this Christmas time wouldnt it be great if Sir Paul came out against the following :

1. DNA retention of innocent peoples'

2. 42 Days Detention without trial ( in fact anything ov er 7 days )

3. Arrests of Christians or muslims because of their faith.

and SACKED all the corrupt Police who have a stranglehold over many parts of the MET after the disastrous years of BLAIR - JACQUI SMITH. Both of them criminal in the way they bent the law to take expenses to feather their "Porno" love nests.

If the CLEAN UP happens then I will be first to congratulate Sir Paul. Has he the guts to do this ?
