JK2006 A bit like Jedward, Chris had the charisma but unlike Jedward he also had the talent; and he was really sparkly and fun and has natural rhythmic ability.

He also comes across as a very nice guy but then we BBC Brekkie fans knew that all along.
robbiex Yes, it was a great show tonight, very emotional to see how much it meant to Chris and Ola and how close all the dancers seem. It's inspiring and makes me want to learn how to dance.

This show doesn't need to play sentimental music to milk any kind of emotion like x factor does and show cheesy close ups of people in tears.

Ricky was the better dancer and would have won if it was purely down to the dancers.
JK2006 Congratulations Chris - it was your joyous Charleston wot won it!
JK2006 Being quite a BBC Breakfast fan, I rooted for Chris from the start and his Charleston was fabulous. So I'm afraid, though Ricky is the far better dancer, I'm rooting for Chris tomorrow.

And on a Tipsheet level - here we have another music show - not connected to Cowell - that is boosting sales. The other night they did a very credible Embassy type treatment of I Don't Know Much (who could every equal Aaaron Nevile - for me one of the greatest singers ever?). I bet that increased downloads.

Look at Don't Stop Believing by Journey (again, nobody could touch Steve Perry).

Anyone else old enough to remember Embassy?
