Err ... sorry ! In my haste to post I fudged the words. What I meant was that he is elected by Scottish voters to the Westminster parliament.

As the Scots (and to a certain extent the Welsh) now have their own parliaments, I'm still not sure about having laws which affect me (and other English people) enacted by people who we cannot vote for and therefor cannot remove.
BR Brown wants a new war in order to postpone the election in my view.

He does not like elections.........
