veritas dogs should be registered as sex offenders as well..you see them commiting assaults on other dogs in public all the time..and exposing themselves against trees etc.

When was the last time you saw a pussycat commit such an offence ?
Denise Sounds like just another way to make money out of Joe Public. A dog tax.
Francis D The advice to government is to chip and register every dog and to force owners to take out insurance against their dog attacking someone.

This is mainly to combat those who own dangerous dogs and abuse current laws. The problem I see is that it may encourage a black market in dangerous dogs. If such owners already break existing laws, why should new laws prevent them? Also, the fact that they are breaking the law shows that the laws are already in place and so there is not need for new ones.

Politicians and police often talk nonsense. I know; I used to a part of the system.
