david well put, Blackit.
Blackit Maybe I'm being a little off topic here, and I don't expect anyone will agree with me..but:

According to Polish law, the unborn child has a right to life.

Seems odd that thousands of Polish women can freely come to the UK to commit what under the laws of their own land is a grave crime against a 'child' (I'm not saying that I think that it is), and yet a British man who has sex with a 15 year old girl in Poland (the age of consent there is 15) would likely be hauled back to the UK as a child sex tourist.

As far as xenophobia is concerned, probably over a million Poles have settled here in the space of a few years and I've hardly witnessed any trouble ever from them.

One night in Bratislava I witnessed British men urinating on a statue, stealing traffic cones, trying to start fights with local men etc etc. And don't get me started on how the British ex-pats can behave in places like Spain.

As far as Poles living here are concerned, we are all in the EU now, and millions of Brits have taken advantage of that to go and live in Europe.

No your're wrong, I'm far from it. I'm just delivering facts,

and yet the article you started this thread with didn't really contain any facts, did it?
giles2008 Maintaining the English way of life? That died the day the Thatch broke out. Old England is dead. Live with it. Nick Griffin and his skinhead sieg heiling thugs wont bring it back neither will the EDL. Like the parrot in the Monty Python sketch its ceased to be.

I thought The Waterboys put it rather well and this was written about Thatchers Britain.

Any opinions I have on immigration are based on economic reasons and reasons of maintaining the British way of life. They are not based on hatred.

I'm sure there were a lot of people in 1930s Germany who defended their Nazi sympathies with much the same kind of words, 'cept that then it was Jews instead of immigrants who they were singling out as the scapegoats. They also believed that a fascist party was "only speaking up for the ordinary citizen"... recognise that thought from anywhere in your own posting history?
Quite apart from that you've already stated that the only part of "the British way of life" you are genuinely interested in is food related, viz
{"When I was talking about English traditions, I wasn't talking about silly things like Morris dancing and cheese rolling. I'm talking about English food.", "Stop this immigration madness" thread, 4Days and 2 hours ago}.
Or weren't you telling us the truth about that?
