JK2006 Check the excellent David Ramsbotham - a former Inspector of Prisons and a very fine human being - speaking in the Lords late last night.

veritas Honestly..sometimes politicans are the lowest scumbags there are.

A clever lawyer should launch a class action on behalf of the disenfranchsed 85,000. The prisoners should agitate fo it..hit the government in it's hip pocket.

If the election were declared illegal who would govern ?. The Queen would have to appoint someone. Prince Harry is my choice for fun times.
JC Maybe that's what Brown is counting on, although it is the European Court on Human Rights which made the ruling, not the EU.

More details here.

JK2006 85,000 prisoners who should - by EU Law (and we belong to the EU) - have the right to vote, do not.
Any result should be scrapped and declared illegal.
