JK2006 Still thoroughly enjoying the series - damn exciting and confusing stuff!
Blackit I think John Wyndhams 'day of the triffods' suffered from a similarly pedantic implausibility (everybody in the world is blinded through watching a meteor shower except a few people with bandages over their eyes recovering from eye operations).
JK2006 I taped it and plan to watch tonight Emma but a good point about those sleeping...
Emma Bee I might have blinked and missed it, but have they ever acknowledged, in this TV drama, that part of the world would have been sleeping during the blackout, not just those in other time zones but those on shift work or in comas, etc. ? It's just that in tonight's episode they mentioned how everybody in the world suffered blackout at the same time.
