Prunella Minge The tabloids don't quite know what to DO with Barry George, do they? One article will be about 'poor' Barry, another will be about 'oddball' Barry and another will be a nudge-nudge 'he did it really' piece. I guess they see such contrariness as a handy space-filler.

Don't be silly, FC ! of course not !

The "powers that be" need the police on side ... to protect them and reinforce their authority ... so when Maggiue got elected the very first thing she did was give the police a huge pay rise (ready for her battle with the miners no doubt).

Anyone else notice that the Brown one now also speaks of "protecting policing, the NHS and education" (always mentioning "policing" first ?)

Ready for the (coming) riots on the streets (Greek style) ?
veritas Barry George gets appaling treatment in the media. The inference is that he somehow brought it upon himself or because he may have psychiatric problems he doesn't deserve compo.
The Fat Controller The whole Dando case has been a farce from the moment the poor woman got hit. Another example of a high profile media case and a horrific miscarriage of justice walking hand in hand. Has anyone at all been held up to account for this horrid catalogue of blunders and lies over the last ten years? Has anyone been imprisoned for taking Sally Clarke by the hand and tormenting her into an early grave? Ditto Stefan Kiszkow?

Just one more question. Whatever happened to the BBC's excellent Rough Justice programme? It seems to have sunk without trace?
JK2006 Well, those dodgy police claim to have found DNA - what's the bet it will belong to another serving prisoner doing life for murder - who will be convicted, improve the police "clean up" rate and get loads of privileges inside as a result.

God the system stinks.
