Emma Bee The thing is, JK, they do know Gordon Brown and have seen what he's like in control of the nation. Reduced freedom for the people and increased powers for the State. Yes the die hards will vote for him but the decent and intelligent voters won't be convinced by his forced smile and promise of extra cash in pocket.

When the devil you know has beaten you senseless, any other devil is better. Tony Blair used his chosen song a bit prematurely. Things can only get better than a Labour government. I really don't think this nation has been in a worse or more unhappy state than it is today.
david yes, this is one of the many unknowns in the election, much like people not admitting to voting for Major in 1992.
