david if they are only interested in fully employed 18-44 year olds, that means they are not interested in anyone over 44, regardless of work status.

and how f*cking dare you say that unemployed people litter our streets. I am unemployed and know many unemployed people who would love to be in work.

take your lazy generalisations and stuff them.
In The Know You spoke of << fully employed 18 to 44-year-olds >>

I was referring to the unemployed (ie unemployable?) 18 to 44 year olds who litter our streets (after thousands of pounds have already been spent on their education).

These people tend not to vote - or even register to vote - so their opinion is irrelevant, and cannot influence the outcome.
david ITK, are you saying loads of people in the following categories are not registered to vote:

* people over 44
* people not in cities (which includes people in towns and villages the length and breadth of the country)
* people who are unemployed.

Are you really saying that the above people's votes 'do not matter at all'. If so I find your claim totally absurd.

I would like to believe the above poll, but it is so far out of line with every other poll and the limited range of respondents would explain why.

Probably ... but these people are not (in many cases) even registered to vote, or have largely indicated their reluctance to vote - so does their opinion actually matter at all?
david as someone who is voting Lib Dem next week I would love to get excited by this poll, but:

Metro’s Urban Life poll is of fully employed 18 to 44-year-olds, who read Metro at least three times a week and live or work in a city.

hmmm, that excludes huge swathes of the population. I am 47 and unemployed so the Metro wouldn't be interested in my opinion.
