no, I think that ITK is referring to a news story this morning whereby the Bank of England head said that the party that wins will have to implement such horrendous cuts that they would be ostracised from the political landscape for ages.

It's been reported that the Governor of the Bank of England told someone (during a private lunch last month) that whoever wins the election will be out of office for a generation - such will be the austerity of the messures introduced.
This is exactly what I have been telling posters here for many months now. Look at Greece, and now Spain. In Ireland one in five houses stands empty (and prices have dropped in Dublin by 47%).
This is what happens when you play the real game with Monopoly money.
