Sad to see the story starting with the words "A gay couple.....". When it's a married heterosexual man abusing a child does the report start off with "a straight/heterosexual couple....." ?

That starting line only serves to fuel same sex couple prejudice when it comes to adopting and fostering children.

I don't recall Sion Jenkins ever described as "heterosexual" or "straight" over his travesty of a case, even when he was considered guilty
