MY POLICE REFORM BILL WOULD :

1.  Cut the POLICE OVERALL BUDGET by &pound;3 billion ( &pound; 1 billion each year over the next 3 years )

2.  Put POLICE back on the beat looking after specified areas and take them out of Police Stations and Cafes.

3.  Freeze the COUNCIL TAX Police Payment for 5 years for the General Public

4.  Freeze the pay of POLICE for 5 years.

5.  Cut overtime by HALF.  Mostly this is for things like football matches which are over-policed.

6.  TAG all police with GPS and make sure they are WORKING at all times.  It seems to the General Public that most are out shopping and sitting in cafes or their cars eating most of the time.  They rarely respond to 999 calls.

7.  Make a time limit to respond to 999 calls like there is for the AMBULANCE service ( 30 mins or 15 min in life threatening situations )
