veritas I'm on a potato and cabbage soup diet.

Weight is dropping off like crazy.
Prunella Minge The Paul McCartney Youtube video on potato-related potato-making...that was a very bad day - a horrible, horrible, day - for potato making. But potatoes in their jackets - quite delightful.
JK2006 and The One Show are doing a feature on the Capercailie - the biggest grouse in the world that became extinct.

I hate to admit it but I ate one 40 years ago. Delicious. It was on sale in Harrods so must surely have been legal!
JK2006 I absolutely love potatoes in every form; mashed with cream, butter, salt and pepper; roast in goose fat; chips; colcannon with delicious greens; au gratin with cheese; croquettes; rosti; there are so many things you can do with potatoes - tonight, with my chicken, tiny boiled new potatoes in butter and mint.
