Topic History of: Remember the dead chaffinch outside my house?

JK2006 Regular KOHers will remember the beautiful bird I photographed dead outside my house. You told me it was a chaffinch and - rightly, I think - suspected it had flown into one of the huge plate glass picture windows on the house on the corner. Well, this morning there's a large dead pigeon (no photos - pigeons are boring) in exactly the same place and it looks like a very broken neck.

As a result my papers were delivered three hours late this morning - I think the deliverer was frightened!
