JK2006 I just put this up on the Tipsheet music board but thought you might all be amused...

A lovely E-M I just received...
Dear Jonathan:

I apologize for not contacting you before now. I just want you to know how honored I am to have met you back in the 60s. My name is Rose who sang with Ike and Tina during the Rolling Stones 1966 UK Tour.

I hope that you are enjoying life now, after that awful situation you experienced. I was just telling Kevin Patrick in New York about the most wonderful person I met during that tour. I left the business way back then, but have great memories of that tour and meeting the very kind and generous Jonathan King.

Attached is the only photo I have from that experience (photographer unknown) that I received in 2007 from Felix Aeppli. I hope to hear back from you. Until then, I remain
Yours very truly,
Rose Smith
AKA IKETTE ROSE

and my reply...

I remember you all well; you used to climb out of the window and we partied all night long - Tina was SO strict!
Lovely lady though; still going strong.
Thanks so much for getting in touch.
I'm wonderful, happy, positive and none the worse for the minor route change in my career!
Love
Jonathan
