Prunella Minge On an unrelated fox topic: wasn't it distracting to hear Robert Gates today keep addressing Liam Fox as 'Dr Fox'? I kept expecting a stocky buffoon with coloured specs to leap up and start distributing free CDs to the ladies.

The "expert" spokesman on BBC Breakfast this morning had to admit (when challenged) that he was a member of the CoUNTrySide Alliance (those who campaign in favour of that disgusting practise known as fox hunting).
