JK2006 A quite extraordinary story and I wonder whether decent policemen and women (there ARE some) will now start wondering about the ease of criminals making false allegations and their motives for doing so.
And whether the gut instinct to support a claimant may need serious reviewing.

In the interests of balance - and just to show that even the Police are not immune to FALSE allegations.

This man's career was ended by FALSE allegations. Revenge allegations obviously and you wonder how this ever even went to court. He must have upset someone in his Police Station.....
