Prunella Minge By the way, last night on BBC2, Craig Johnston - ex-Liverpool player and inventor of the 'predator' football boot and many other things (and a genuinely lovely person) - gave a brief but rather insightful critique of the World Cup ball and why so many shots are flying high over the bar. Well worth a watch...

Prunella Minge I remember Kewell in the champions league final, hobbling off claiming he could barely move and then sprinting the length of the pitch to get his winners' medal at the end. There's something very irritating about his whining.
veritas The aftermath of them defeating Oz is still raging here. I think the poor coach may be lynched when he gets back home.

The notion pushed in the media was Oz had to win at all costs ...losing was the unthinkable.

Now they have it in for Harry Kewell..never seen the media so nasty.
JK2006 Even though they were defeated by a card carrying ref, I think they look spunkiest.
Crucial that England wins tonight.
