Not sure I would put him in charge of petty cash just yet.
Black is just another greedy pantomime baddie who thought he was too powerful to be convicted. Robert Maxwell was the last one. He is obviously not the only head of a large firm who is crooked - he was just careless and arrogant enough to get caught.
veritas
never brought into that conviction. He must have crossed someone powerful.

locked up or condemned forever - victims of the globally corrupt, inept or wicked system.
You really must have a chat with yourself.
Just because you were locked up doesn't mean the rest of the world is guilty/innocent.
But then, it all comes back to you!
Why else have a self-promoting website. Not a lot of 'ok, I was wrong' - or humility here!

Granted bail and it looks like his wrongful convictions will be quashed
Black was simply a fraudster - a convicted one.
His defence (why he didn't think he should pay US tax) was - 'I am neither a citizen or resident of the USA'
Neither am I, but I still have to pay tax on my investments there.
This stance was infantile - citizenship or residency (albeit sometimes a time limit comes in to play/but not in his case) is not relevant.
Put simply, this Canadian chap got too big for his boots!
Innocent Accused
Can't say I know much about his case, but good luck to him if he is innocent.
