veritas Anorak has picked up this tale and points out that the Daily Express has given the story the same treatment but then it's sister paper the Star runs a tale about Emma Watson's knickers.

None of this would bother me (and indeed I've made money from all these newspapers with tawrdy tales) but the worrying thing is that cowardly politicians take their cue from these rags which are the height of hypocrisy.

The Bulger crime was quite hideous but the judge who allowed 2 ten year old..obviously extremely disturbed... children's names to be published because of media pressure was another gutless fool.

This was clearly child abuse and from the day their names were published the media and public alike indulged in a ghastly orgy of child abuse and the fact these 2 were murderers does not excuse that disgusting orgy.

Personally..I believe this story is a complete fabrication.
veritas you have to love the gall of the Mail !! you are right..upskirt picture on their front page.

"The case was dropped due to insufficient evidence, but officers found a folder called 'Up Skirts' on his computer - containing 1,200 images - after his arrest earlier this year."

not at all credible...evidence ??...staring them in the face (so to speak) if the tale is true.

Probably absolute bull****. How the hell could anyone, let alone Jon Venables, manage to take 1,200 photos up women's skirts with a mobile phone without being caught and arrested?

And the irony is, the Daily Mail currently has an 'upskirt' photo of Alesha Dixon on its front page.
