I agree that 95% of abuse takes place in the family. But this law is really to deal with predatory abusers in the 5% of abusers.
Dreadful law which can only lead to more abuse going unchecked because if the Father is the breadwinnner then the Wife is hardly likely to blow the whistle and end up on the streets - as is the case in many upper and lower class families.
There was one case I read the papers for where the Father said - "what is wrong with a Father sharing a bed with his daughter" ( who was 14 years old at the time ). The POLICE refused to prosecute him for this and left the 14 year old with the Father ( sharing a one bed flat on their own ) - Social Services did try to suggest that this was not a healthy relationship - but because the girl was terrified into not speaking there was ( the Police said ) nothing they could do about this.
Abusers in the family deserve to lose their kids - abusers who are predatory need help because the law is not going to cure them. Why dont we do anything to stop abusers ? Prison may stop them for a while but if they lose their job and reputation then they are more likely to go on to abuse other children as Roy Whiting did. He should have had therapy and if necessary chemical castration if he could not control his desires. That is the LAW that should bear the name of SARAH. A law to castrate Paedophiles who are predatory and who cant change.
The Payne woman isn't remotely interested in the true facts and figures BR. She's only interested in self promotion and her own plight, because she's telephoned daily by some devious lying cunt from the News Of The World, who pretends to care about her.
Sarah's law (I 'm almost scratching my own eyes out whenever I see that headline) will do nothing to protect children.
In fact I'd go further and say that she and her kind make things worse, and children are far more likely to be the victims of abuse whilst she keeps opening her chavvy gob.
Now...let me tell you what will happen next. Father of three...wrongly accused of being a paedophile...beaten to death on the street by morons.... Sarah's Law is immediately put under question and scrutinised. The Payne woman is advised by the devious cunt at the News Of The World that it's best if she lays low for a while. Two months later it still hasn't gone away...family of father start their own campaign, without the assistance of the tabloids of course. But they shout and scream from the rooftops. The entire policy of Sarah's Law is turned on its head.
The Payne woman, with her latest Vidal Sassoon hairdo is openly ridiculed in a public forum. Lost for words and abandoned by the devious cunt at the News of The World, she unravels and is left a lonely and isolated figure devoid of answers. She retreats, and summer returns to the hillsides, the parks, the beaches,the gardens, and children are left to run free and live happily ever after.
Well...we can hope.

Perhaps someone can explain - perhaps that ghastly Payne woman? - how this law would have protected HER daughter ?
Roy Whiting was (I believe) a total stranger. He came into contact with her daughter because she was not looking after her !
