these tasers are a menace.

Mind you I wouldn't mind myself and a can of mace.
In The Know Thanks, Jim - I had read this.

The police are far too frequent in their use of taser guns (often with denied but devastating consequences).

Just proves the old adage - give them new weapons, and they'll use them !
