JK2006 I've been watching it on Ch4 - it's almost finished - and I really cannot find one fault with it; superb script, wonderful camerawork, great sound, clever and original situations (love the racist dwarf)... a magnificent movie. Should have won Best Picture Oscar and three Best Actors in Gleeson, Farrell and Fiennes - all outstanding.
Prunella Minge Yes, I loved it. A great 'yarn'.

(By the way: if you're ever in the mood for a gentle little English shaggy dog story, give Dean Spanley a try: Peter O'Toole and Sam Neill are good in it and it's just a nice little Ealing-style piece that was overlooked by most when it came out a couple of years ago.)
JK2006 It's funny, clever, intelligent - both Colin and Brendan are brilliant and the best Fiennes performance ever.
BR Why is it so good JK ? I will set my SKY +.........
JK2006 In Bruges; do not miss it.
