BR That made me laugh out loud. You are of course very right. Poor bloke should have stayed in Turkey if he thought he would get any justice here.

The estimate is for a 2012 trial - but that means something like 2014 if normal service in the courts in relation to fraud is followed and maybe up to 7 or 8 years before it is heard because these cases require specialists to go through financial documents and this is very time consuming and of course expensive.

Why not just offer the bloke a caution and say dont do it again. It is too long ago to mean anything anymore.
