JK2006 With incredible efficiency, Waterstones, just down the road for me in Notting Hill Gate, have all 6 finalists on a shelf within an hour of the announcement; so I've just bought them.
JK2006 I'm off to buy them all - have to try to read the lot in the next 4 weeks.

The six books, selected from the Man Booker Prize longlist of 13, are:

Peter Carey Parrot and Olivier in America (Faber and Faber)

Emma Donoghue Room (Picador - Pan Macmillan)

Damon Galgut In a Strange Room (Atlantic Books - Grove Atlantic)
