Thanks BR,

I do wonder what will be the future career of these whistleblowers. Methinks they are unlikely to become Chief Constables. I've never been able to forget the case of former Assistant Chief Constable John Stalker, an honest policeman, last seen selling double-glazing.

Best Wishes,

Hopefully the culture will change and these people will see promotion for actually improving the public perception of the Police.

If the WPC had not reported the incident and that video had been leaked to the press then we would have seen the Police reputation damaged beyond repair. That whistleblower has at least shown there are some Police who are not prepared to witness violence and put their head in the sand. I wish a PoLICEMAN who witnessed the TOMLINSON murder would come forward and whistleblow about the incident. There were tens of police around him - yet we have not heard of one coming forward which is quite poor.

But things do seem to be changing.

When the Police cut jobs hopefully they will weed out the "bad cops" first. The proof will be when in the next 5 years we see no more incidents like the G20 policing or this cell incident. Lets hope this is the case.
Jim Thanks BR,

Jim said it was encouraging that the female PC reported the violence.

Here is another example of 2 PCs reporting more violence in a Police Station.

Hopefully the decent Police will start to report EVERY incident of Violence as quickly as possible.

The CPS must prosecute every case where CCTV and injuries are found on prisoners.

This is the only way the culture of violence that has grown in the Police in the last 30 years can be stopped and confidence restored to the public.
