BR Compared to sentencing for others it was probably 4 or 5 times too harsh. Most people who cry false allegatons get between 1 and 2 years.

This man with 12 is near a 15 year life sentence !! for setting someone up.

BUT dreadful thing to do and WE DONT KNOW the full story.
JK2006 I'm with Veritas - far too harsh though the man deserved severe punishment; Dear Page One Paget likes to pander to the tabloids.

This bloke's efforts were ham-fisted...it must be incredibly easy to pull this of and set someone up.

I don't veritas ... this man tried (and maybe succeeded?) in destroying someone's life - purely for his own greed.
veritas what an extraordinary statemrnt:

"You will go to prison for a long time. The prison population is not renowned for being particularly fair or reasonable," he said.

"You will be suspected by many of being a paedophile and, like Mr Thompson, you may find that you suffer, both in prison and on release, for the rest of your life
."

judge admitting the whole system is corrupt and he's part of it!

JK2006 Judges never feel guilty BR; they don't know the true meaning of the word!
