understandable and admirable FC but the revenue is paid according to the number of views.

There is a young Asian girl in Melbourne who has been posting youtube videos of helpful hints on how to improve your love life and she made $10,000 in one year-all from being a producer out of her bedroom.

The money obviously comes from the adverts that run across the bottom of the videos-more hits -more revenue for all.

I don;t really see how they could possibly object to JK's stuff..there is no nudity and even neo nazi groups and all sorts of hate groups don't get removed.

JK could investigate that angle but if someone is receiving mega hits-why not make money ?..youtube certainly is !
JK2006 Several of the requests refer to spoken word videos so it must be content.
I'll check my PRS statements for specifics on songs.
DJones Is this "Revenue Sharing programme" aimed at the video producer? Or the owner of the soundrecording copyrights? Or both?

Can you see from your PRS account from which countries you are getting paid for the use of your compositions?

I'm suddenly bombarded by requests from You Tube to sign up all my accounts for their Revenue Sharing programme. My videos on there have had millions of views. My friends in Sons of Admirals make loads of money from it but I hate those damn pop up ads and feel inclined to say "no thank you". Any opinions?

for God's sake do it !

you are wrong Fat Controller. People are making small fortunes on youtube with witty videos.

The youtube video I posted in the other board of Axis of Awesome- that band has made more money from youtube than touring.

why wouldn't you JK ?-it's no different than getting royalties from airplay but the money is much better.
