Russia wants to return to Superpower status - and freedom of speech is something that a Superpower does not need. So this could become commonplace. If Russia decides to become aggressive towards the West again then we are all in trouble. Remember Russia backs Iran etc. So any USA led action against Iran would backfire spectacularly. Also I posted last week the DAILY MAIL story about NUCLEAR BOMBERS from Russia coming along to the UK on regular sorties - and that has to be a worrying development surely ? Yes this story is important for both the reasons you have mentioned - and yes I have been watching this situation for a couple of weeks now and posting on here about it - so I carefully considered how important this "raid" was/is in the general scheme of things. What do you think Russia is up to ? I am concerned.
Prunella Minge	I still don't quite get this latest shriek of indignation. Is BR surprised that law and order in Russia is almost as bad as it was in the old Soviet era, or is he convinced that because this particular dodgy Russian billionaire, being investigated by dodgy Russian police, happens to own a couple of UK papers (amongst other things), it's more evidence that the UK is going bad? Or was BR just so excited he typed the whole thing without reading the story through?
