JK2006 Which is the Charles Band film?
veritas I've never thought Rowling was original (thanks barniethebbarn for the clue) but I've found the books and films entirely boring...not say as exciting as the Star Wars or Hobbit films etc.

But good on all those who have done well out of them including all the actors who are terrific.

And I've only seen one...
barnthebarn Thought the film was quite boring - an extended, uninteresting camping trip. Of course I'm always slightly hung up on the fact that Rowling STOLE (Thanks BR) Harry Potter from the 1980's film from the excellent filmaker Charles Band.
JK2006 I thought it was pretty good though relentlessly dark (which the book isn't). Just had a text from Andy saying he's taking his two youngest in at this very moment; I suspect they won't like it but he will; it's very much an adult film; not for children.
