BR Very moving drama.

I loved the big when he came into court dressed as a clown and sang desperado in the cells before the verdict.

Worth watching on I PLAYER if you missed this.

This series has really exposed again the problems in the UK justice system and the way they actually work against people who are the REAL VICTIMS.

I know it is PC and fashionable to say that - but it is true that genuine victims of crime get very little help or protection from the Justice System. The CPS in particular totally deserves its moniker as the "Criminal Protection Service"
JK2006 Rather delighted to learn my old friend from Chumbawamba, Alice Nutter, co-wrote last night's excellent episode.
JK2006 and, like all his work, Accused is terrific.
Peter Capaldi was particularly good in a very difficult role.
