veritas I'm finding that on lots of 'liberal" web boards that the ladies who made these patently absurd claims are being treated with kid gloves.

That's despite so many lawyers saying the claims-as presented- are absolute tosh and would never get near a court in any other western country.

It shows how the allegation of 'rape' has become a rallying cry for hysteria.

When the laws were completely different, the prosecution kept changing the charges throughout the trial and you were on a different continent, don't forget...

I do hope that more people will start to think about this area of law and realise that Mr Assange is not the only victim, nor is his the most troubling case.
Innocent Accused With a bit of luck even more people will realize how bad these laws really are.
