Prunella Minge Yes, it's a waste of his skill. He should be driving a taxi somehwere or other, feeling very angry.
steveimp Yep same here. I had to strain my aerial here in Lincolnshire to get Radio Aire on 96.3 but got it well 9 times out of ten. Really got me into talk radio in a big way, and stayed with him through talk Radio and talkSPORT, and now he is on the drivetime show on LBC, which is perhaps a waste of his skills to be honest.
Anthony I didn't know the mighty Whale had a job on LBC. This is good news, but he really deserves a platform on a national station.

I grew up with Whale in the 1980's when he did the late night slot on commercial radio in Leeds. Happy days, and Whale was at his absolute best in those days.
Prunella Minge Maybe - hopefully - the fact he's a misogynist has something to do with it. (And if that's just an 'act,' what a pathetic act to have.)
steveimp Pity talkSPORT were pretty gutless when it came to his sacking over 'comments' he made about the London Elections. Kelvin McKenzie thought they were bonkers given the audience he had. Still their loss is LBC's gain.
