veritas Rupert Murdoch and his like-minded editors set out to destroy the Aussie PM Kevin Rudd ( a closet socialist) when he tried to raise an extra tax on the mining corporations reaping windfalls from the earth in Oz.

It worked- they went in blazing and freaked out his party who dumped the most popular PM ever after he had brought them a brilliant victory and after just 2 years in office as News Corp screeched the mining industry was doomed because of this paltry tax.

The result- each one of those mining corps have made massive profits 12 months later including the largest mining corp in the world BHP Biliton- $10.5 Billion in 6 months announced today.

And so his daughter Elisabeth Murdoch's 'Shine' conmpany is worth a billion dollars is it ??

ha ha..pass the sick bag Alice. Never invest in News Corp shares.
