Karmic Bounce George Shearing, the legendary blind jazz pianist born to working-class parents in Battersea, died on 14th February aged 91. Now there was a class act wirh real talent.

I once tried to play a couple of his pieces but gave up as I didn't have 15 fingers spanning one-and-a-half octaves.
