Karmic Bounce The lack of subs might well be put down to the cuts; perhaps in our Big Society we could find a few retired journalists to do the proof reading voluntarily. All they'd need it a laptop and an internet connection.

Hang on, didn't you try your hand at newspaper column writing once Ken? Also, being classically educated (Chouse/Trinity) this one could be right up your street. Have you thought about offering yourself gratis to Auntie?
SJB It's indolence and incompetence in journalism, JK. Cut and paste, owt'll do, back of a fag packet, regurgitative journalism.
JK2006 On BBC News a reporter on the protests in Morocco " three or possibly even four thousand Moroccans" demonstrating - "something that would not have been possible a week ago".

I've been there; demonstrations are regular and often far more than 4000.

But that's less of a ... good story.

If the media can stir up discontent and hopefully inspire many deaths, it's a much better story.

And check the story on the BBC site where Marrakech is spelled correctly on the map and incorrectly in the story; whatever happened to subs?
