Metal Mickey Strangely enough, he's one of the few actors/celebrities to actively retire (without it being forced upon him by unpopularity!) His last movie was in 2004, and he says he has no plans to act ever again...
vertas terrific actor. Must be very bankable as he is one of those actors you will always watch a movie that he's in.

Hackman, Bruce Willis, Drew Carey and John Malkovitch were the only actors who supported George Bush Jnr.
SJB I agree, JK. Enemy of the State is the film you're thinking of.

He was hilarious in The Royal Tennenbaums and Get Shorty. Unforgiven and The Quick and the Dead were good meaty gritty performances in contrast. And of course The French Connection. Anything he's been in is worth a watch.
JK2006 Watching Gene in Superman - he can make the most ordinary movie seem marvellous. He's one of my favourite American actors; whenever he is in a film I reckon it should be worth watching (I think my fave was him and Will Smith in that conspiracy theory one).
