veritas looks delicious. Haven't had lobster for years.

oright for some then.
JK2006 My friend asked for his belated Christmas gift as a Gavroche dinner last night and we had a spectacular and delicious meal which he later described as "absolutely fabulous".

Michel Roux was charming and delightful - I've known him since he was tiny - I was one of the first customers at the Gavroche off Sloane Square when his Dad and uncle took over the place and began serving wonderful French cuisine and I've treated it as my local ever since.

I actually most enjoyed the soup - veloute of cauliflower with a poached egg and deep fried chorizo. The main course - lobster - was fantastic. Mike became ecstatic at the lemon sorbet. Do try it some day; it remains the foremost restaurant in London (and was packed).
