veritas I hate you all..going into Spring and summer !

I can still feel that unique thrill one gets on an English spring morning !
dixie The best time of year is about to start. The clocks go forward this Sunday, so we'll have lovely lighter evenings and summer is still to look forward to!
JK2006 Mine too Angel; I love the summer and the warmth and dry air and swimming but spring at best tells me it's coming.

And I can see the rose buds outside my house; in a few weeks they will be flowering into 200-300 pink blooms (with the ones lower down scarlet and smaller).

Already the daffodils and purple crocuses are out - and pansies? Are they pansies? (No cracks about the pansies being inside the house). Like primroses but violet.
Angel How wrong you are itk. Warm, sunny and the garden is becoming more colourful by the day. Butterflies and bumble bees were being chased by our daughter only an hour ago. My favourite time of year.

Squirrels, daffodils, apple blossom, pigeons, tourists, fountains, green grass and crocuses.

Bliss.

I can top that, JK ... kingfishers and water voles seen by the banks of the River Derwent today.

I wonder if its still snowing in Scotland ?
