veritas I liked the series..

how strange..going to nightclubs and reading books !

should have tried the drugs. they were good.
JK2006 When I was younger I adored Frank Herbert's Dune books (I used to go to clubs and whilst my friends danced or drugged, I sat and read in the dim lights). The film (on 5 this afternoon) by David Lynch was a flop but I quite enjoyed it. It strikes me that the Spice theme is quite similar to Philip Pullman's Dust in his superb trilogy. Plus ca change.
